On January 21^st, Toyota announced a recall on select Toyota vehicles for sticking accelerator pedals.  In recent months Toyota Motor Company has investigated isolated reports of sticking accelerator pedal mechanisms in certain vehicles.

Toyota’s investigation indicates that there is a possibility that certain accelerator pedal mechanisms may, in rare instances, mechanically stick in a partially depressed position or return slowly to the idle position.  Consistent with Toyota’s commitment to the safety of their cars and their customers, they have initiated a voluntary recall and “stop sale” of the vehicles involved.

Here is a list of the vehicles affected:

2009 – 2010 Corolla

2009 – 2010 Matrix

2007 – 2010 Camry

2005 – 2010 Avalon

2009 – 2010 RAV-4

2010 Highlander

2007 – 2010 Tundra

2008 – 2010 Sequoia

In the past few days, as your dealer, have answered numerous calls of concern and questions regarding this matter.  We want you to know we take this situation very seriously and are more than happy to continue to answer any of your questions or concerns.
